Please try to use a professional LiFePO4 battery charger, Solar panel charging with MPPT or alternator with DC-DC charger to test out. As some lithium charger does not support LiFePO4 battries(e.g. Noco Genius)
To expedite the resolution process, kindly provide your order number and the platform where the purchase was made so we may verify the order details if you have done the troubleshoot and still requires customer support.
Additionally, we kindly request that you share detailed information about the issue you encountered. If possible, attaching photos or videos demonstrating the problem would greatly assist our technical team in diagnosing the situation accurately.
To address the charging concern systematically, please follow the steps below and provide the required details:
1. Charger Compatibility Verification
Share high-resolution photos of both sides of your charger (clearly displaying the brand name, model, and voltage/current specifications).
Confirm whether the charger is explicitly labeled as "Compatible with 14.6V LiFePO4 Batteries" (Note: AGM or certain lithium battery chargers are not recommended for LiFePO4 batteries).
If possible, test charging with a professional-grade charger designed for 12.8V LiFePO4 batteries. Connect the charger and allow it to automatically adjust the current/voltage based on the battery’s status. Restoration may require extended charging time (hours or longer), especially for deeply discharged batteries.
2. Battery Status Diagnosis
Immediately disconnect all loads and parallel/series connections.
After letting the battery rest for 1 hour, attempt activation using the following method:
Low-Current Activation (if applicable): For batteries rendered inactive due to prolonged storage or over-discharge, use a dedicated battery activator or a low-current charger to gently revive the battery. Ensure the charging current remains minimal to avoid damage. Once activated, proceed with standard charging to restore voltage.
3. Charging System Inspection(Bluetooth version)
Connect to app
Check if the charging button has been turned off, click it to initiate recharge if it is turned off
4. If battery is tested under 5V-7V, here how to bring the voltage back and wake up BMS:
Use a 12V 1A Lead-acid charger to recharge the battery for 5-6 seconds and it slowly goes up to 9V (Please note that to watch this process closely to avoid over heat, unplug it if it is overheated), and then switch to the LiFePO4 charger to bring up the battery to fully charged voltage (13.3V-13.6V)
If battery is tested less than 2V, it is not connecting to app, it can be wake up from sleep mode and use the above way to bring up the voltage. If the battery's voltage remains no changes, then part of the cell might be having issues, and a replacement is needed
For RMA Initiation:
If the battery remains non-functional, please provide:
A photo of the product’s side label (showing the serial number).
Multimeter readings of the current voltage.
We look forward to your response to ensure a swift resolution. Should you require further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.
